Who are we?
Speed of Sound LLC is a company comprised
of uniquely skilled individuals focused on the common goal
of automotive customization and aftermarket parts manufacturing.
Our first products, A-Pillar Gauge Pods for the Ford Mustang,
ushered a fresh approach to a seemingly mundane part. A compelling
design, unparalleled quality, and a fit and finish second-to-none
have not gone unnoticed. Our gauge pillars, custom one-off
parts, and hard-earned reputation have gained the attention
and respect of the industry.
What makes us different?
Using a concept of “Custom Mass-Production”,
the company has dedicated itself to producing new products
that meet a specific need, and then delivering quality at
a level which renders comparison moot. A tireless search of
new materials, manufacturing techniques, and creative applications
has resulted in a company that people seek out when they know

What got us started?
While our business charter states a founding
date of 2003, Speed of Sound LLC is the embodiment of an idea
that formed many years prior. The company’s two founders
teamed in various custom automotive projects many hundreds
of times, and came to realize they formed a balanced, powerful
team. At the encouragement of their family and friends, the
decision was made to bring their ideas to a larger market.
At Speed of Sound every project is approached
with the same fanatical attention to detail. We simply do
not settle for average quality. In a world where original
ideas are rare we strive to bring a unique element into everything
we touch. Your vehicle is one of the most visual extensions
